The clean channel has nice subtle crunch, and it's very responsive to your way of playing, and overdrive channel is really thick, warm and i was surprised how close it was to my Orange RV50 ! If i didn't have my Orange amp i would probably use this amp much as it fits nicely to my style - it does heavy doomy, sludgy sounds really good! I really recommend you to check Youtube videos, or reviews on internet because it's not only me who likes this amp. As i have a loads of other gear, many times i was comparing Marshall 3210 Mosfet to amps like Tech 21 Trademark("marshall" mode), JCM800, Laney AOR and even recently with my Orange Rockerverb 50(which i consider as my best amp) and i'm telling you-this amp goes hand in hand with more pricey amps. This model is still regarded as the best marshall solid state amp, and one of the best solid state amps EVER MADE, along with names/brands like Tech 21(who makes really great sounding stuff comparable to tube amps). It's all solid state, but believe me- this head is truly amazing, and has real "tube/valve" feel(in terms of rich harmonics) when you play it.
